How to drill a hole in a ceramic wall tile. How to tile.Wall tiling. Bathroom wall tiling.

To the inexperienced, and to some extent even the experienced, drilling a hole in a ceramic or porcelain wall tile can present some problems to the budding wall tiler. The problem l'm talking about relates to not quite knowing how much pressure to exert onto the drill to prevent the chuck of the drill smashing into the tile as the drill bit makes it's way through the back of the tile.
